What it is

For businesses that have outgrown what they are using

MadeBookable is a flexible booking and operational management platform for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, disconnected systems or restrictive off-the-shelf software.

It handles bookings, customers, products, payments, allocations, reporting and operational workflows through one branded platform. The important part is that it is configured around your business — the terminology your staff use, the rules that govern your availability, and the sequence a booking actually goes through.

MadeBookable is created and supported by MadeDigital. It came out of building bespoke booking systems and noticing how much of the groundwork was the same each time, and how much of the difficulty was in the parts that differ between businesses.

What makes it different

Configurable software, not a generic template

Most booking software applies one model to every business. MadeBookable adapts its terminology and setup to the type of client instead.

  • It uses your words

Pitches, units, rooms, seats, berths, slots — the terminology on screen is configured to match what your team already says, rather than forcing everyone to translate into generic labels.

  • It follows your process

Booking stages, availability rules and workflows are set up around how your business actually operates, instead of requiring you to adopt somebody else’s process.

  • It is configured, not just switched on

MadeBookable is set up for your operation by the people who built it. That is a deliberate choice: booking-led businesses differ too much for self-service setup to work well.

  • It is developed by the same team that supports it

MadeDigital builds, configures and supports MadeBookable. If something needs to change, you are talking to the people who can change it.

Who it is for

Configurable for different booking-led sectors

MadeBookable is designed for businesses where availability, capacity and allocation matter. That covers a wide range of sectors.

An honest note. The amount of configuration or development needed varies by sector, and not every sector-specific setup already exists. We will be specific about what is available today and what would need building for your business — before you commit to anything.

  • Campsites and holiday parks
  • Hotels and accommodation
  • Minibus and transport operators
  • Venues
  • Events
  • Specialist tour and travel businesses
  • Other booking and allocation businesses
Data and security

Your data, kept separate

Each client's data is held separately rather than pooled with other businesses using the platform. Access is controlled through individual staff accounts with role-based permissions, so people see what their role requires and nothing more.

Before you commit to anything, we will set out in writing where your data is held, who has access to it, how backups are handled, and what happens to your data if you stop using the platform. Those are reasonable questions and they deserve specific answers rather than reassuring language.

We describe what the platform does rather than making broad security claims. If you need particular certifications, standards or contractual commitments, tell us and we will answer directly about what we can and cannot evidence.

Questions

Common questions about MadeBookable

Is MadeBookable a separate company?

No. MadeBookable is a software product created and supported by MadeDigital. The same team that builds our custom software builds and maintains it.

How is it different from off-the-shelf booking software?

Most booking software applies one model to every business and expects you to adapt. MadeBookable is configured around your operation instead — including the terminology on screen, the booking rules and the workflows — so staff see the language and process they already use.

Can it be configured for our type of business?

That is the question a demonstration answers. MadeBookable is designed for booking-led businesses with availability and allocation requirements. We will look at your operation and tell you honestly whether it fits, and what configuration or development would be involved.

Is every sector version already available?

No, and we would rather be straightforward about that. MadeBookable is configurable for a range of booking-led sectors, but the amount of configuration or development needed varies. We will be specific about what exists today and what would need building for your business.

What happens to our data?

Each client's data is kept separately rather than pooled with other businesses. We will set out in writing where data is held, who can access it, and what happens to it if you stop using the platform.

Can we import our existing bookings and customers?

Usually, yes — including from spreadsheets. Data import is a normal part of moving to a new system. We will look at what you hold, tell you what can be brought across cleanly and what needs attention first.

Can it work alongside our website?

Yes. MadeBookable includes branded customer portals, and it can be connected to an existing website so customers move between the two without it feeling like two different systems.

How do we get started?

Request a demonstration. We will ask about how you take bookings now and what is causing the most difficulty, then show you how the platform would be configured for your operation.

See how MadeBookable would be configured for your business

A demonstration is a conversation, not a sales presentation. Tell us how you take bookings now and what causes the most difficulty, and we will show you how the platform would be set up for your operation — including anything it would not do.

  • We will be specific about what exists today
  • We will tell you if MadeBookable is not the right fit
  • No obligation, and no pressure to decide on the call

MadeBookable enquiry

The more you can tell us about how you work now, the more useful the demonstration will be.

Form delivery is not connected yet. SetPUBLIC_FORM_ENDPOINT in the hosting environment to start receiving enquiries — see docs/DOMAIN-AND-LAUNCH.md. Until then this form validates but does not send.

For example: campsite, accommodation, transport, venue, events, tours.
Include spreadsheets, paper diaries and email if they are part of the process — that is genuinely useful to know.
